    Yes, exactly, that was a wise verdict on the part of Apex court. After all. it was a movie and in it Jolly, a fictitious character. Things should be taken in the real perspective. Not to the heart

    I saw appeal being spelled as apple in the same movie. That was for the sake of fun and nothing else. Advocates try such things to remain in limelight. Nothing serious. The producers should be careful while using a particular name.

    Humor is essential in all walks of life , and lawyers who see caried people and situations should be open minded and know where to draw the line ! Similarly peoples tastes are different and in a democracy one cannot dictate terms and say that a certain view is only the right view as long as it does not violate any laws and is not a crime..

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

    I was curious to know why the Meerut lawyers were more angry. So, I saw the movie trailer on Y Tube. The judge asks the lawyer where he studied law. The lawyer replies that he studied in Law college of Meerut. Then the judge retorted- Oh Hence there are so many mistakes in your appeal. You have spelled 'prosecution' as 'prostitution'.

    Naturally Meerut based lawyerscannot take the movie as sportingly as those from other places.

    Jokes to a certain extent is good. Jokes which makes other's embarrass is offensive. As "Jolly- LLB" is a movie, Supreme Court did not ban it. In reality, such jokes must be avoided.

    It's a movie. It's aim is to entertain.. People should understand it. There were many jokes targeting South Indians by Mehmood. We enjoyed it. Never took to the heart.

    You are correct but try to think the negative aspect of the movie. There are many people who practice after watching the movies. That should not be done.
