    The figures are a bit lower than what we keep hearing about so I think these are only the 'declared' assets of these people. So in effect if all undeclared assets were also to be considered, there may be more politicians added to the list.

    Of course these are declared assets. The 'pure politicians' have more undeclared and less declared; others- industrialists, professionals, film personalities- less undeclared and more declared

    The combined wealth of the Bacchan family must be much more than that...however, I feel that there are many more who have much more money like Ambanis,film stars and many more top politicians ...

    The information is about politicians only- including those in politics in addition to main job like law, business, profession, films. The industrialists, film personalities and professionals not in politics are not included.

    These people earn a lot from their original profession. So, it is very natural that they are richer. But the politicians are also rich, don't forget that. I had read that there were more than 100 crorepati MLAs who were in the news during the Karnataka elections.

    These days, there are very high cost of electioneering. So, you must be already a crorepati. Having spent crores of rupees on electioneering, you will try to recover the cost of election along with some surplus.

    These days, there are very high cost of electioneering. So, you must be already a crorepati. Having spent crores of rupees on electioneering, you will try to recover the cost of election along with some surplus.

    Yes, there is a heavy expenditure on elections today, espeically the unrecorded bucks are spent the most. Right?

    They all earned his wealth from source other than politics and it is declared. Loolo Parsad and Mayawati who have not any other source of earning earned much more than these tens.

    Politics is the best career opportunity in this country . I pity those NRIs who leave the country in search of wealth, forgetting the best source of wealth under their very nose.


    everyone has distinct talent. Politics also needs some talent. If you have talent in business, sports, acting, art, law- it is better to work accordingly. Politics is not for everyone.
