    In one word, I'd say arranged marriages take in to consideration all the aspects like compatibility, an assurance of family harmony to name a few to avoid problems likely to rise in the absence of these factors in future. Owing to this reason western world started looking towards this ancient marriage system.

    Do you think lovers would think and discuss all the aspects related to, compatibility, adjustments, tolerance etc before falling in love. At that moment every thing in each of the lovers look rosy. And it takes no time to see the realities. By that time the inevitable happens. Where as it
    Is not the case with arranged marriages. They look, explore and make sure of the lovers a harmonious life.

    The biggest loophole in an arranged marriage is that, it is arranged by someone else according to their vision and taste and the couple have little say in the matter, but have to live their lives on their own terms even if there has been a mismatch...Arranged marriages look successful because the couple carry on out of fear of elders and society ! Just because a couple lives together for a hundred years does not mean that a marriage is happy or successful...

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
