You are right sir, not only ground nesting but all birds are facing threat of extinction. House sparrow is rare bird in these day, in my childhood this bird was like our family member.

A natural habitat within which a species is born and grew is a must for survival. But man is invading their natural habitats for the sake of development. This is the cause for extinction of many exotic species.
