    There are two cases in almost less than 24 hours when prominent leaders in India have been either sentenced or convicted. I think we are going to see a lot of tumultuous activities in the next elections.

    I feel that they should be barred for life instead of six years...Does it mean that they can start afresh after six years and get involved in other scams ? It sends out a very wrong message to the scamsters..


    Six years exile is a big time. There has to be a limit for everything in every law. Is there life imprisonment for every offence? Similarly, nobody will be barred for life. .


    There is life sentence for some offence and cheating the country and its citizens is a big crime and to let such people come into power again and probably do the same thing doesnt really help us clean up the system..

    Lalu will find enough supporters to bail him out and they will live happily ever after. The end of another episode of political drama.


    Many precedents are there,where the offenders made a mockery of the law. Lalu will definitely emerge out as an innocent cow that doesn't know how to chew the fodder.


    Nolw Lalu yadav has been convicted. What else we may expect. Nobody can bar him from filing appeal. We cannot speculate the result of appeal yet to be filed.


    We go by the past incidents. A case that took 16 years, may take another 16 years. This is how a commoner speculates, who goes by previous examples.


    But Lalu Prasad cann't compete in election for six years.

    In this case the proverb justice delayed justice denied is wrong due to Honorable Supreme Court's recent verdict on corrupt politicians. This will make political class more transparent and more clean from corruption.

    With the ordinance bill being squashed there is some hope after all.....Of course the way it got done also make us wonder whether one family can do what they want , while earlier the entire country's opinion was overlooked and passed over ... This is a dangerous situation and all the more reason to throw Congress and its family out of power ...

    There should be no limit in punishment for people who cheat people of this country and play with the system because they were entrusted with power to handle money. They should be treated as criminals against nation and hanged in public. They are selling this country for personal benefit. 6 years bar is, as we suspend government employees to come back and start looting allover again.

    Our law and adminstration has been forced to work properly because of the public opinion which was gauged by the government.It was the same gvernment which had passed the ordinance bill which had to back track...
