When it comes to nature, there is no gender bias. It's the nature's law. Every living organism has its own life span.
Giving birth to a new life needs lot of energy and power. Such strength and power is within a female sex. However it may be the nature of few species to die after giving birth. She may not be able to tolerate the pain.
