There is some dispute between Congress and BJP on appointment of first Lok Pal. Lok Pal is a sort of committee. BJP does not favor appointment in the lok pal Panel of a jurist considered Congress supporter.

    Supreme Court lawyer PP Rao as a member of the Lokpal selection panel was opposed because Manmohan Singh has proposed. Whatever congress proposes, BJP disposes. And the converse is true.. This is expected.
