    :lol: :lol: HA HA very funny. My favorite is 'My trouser split and tore, on my way to work.' It could actually happen to somebody.

    My neighbor's dog just had 5 puppies and she need's me to take care of 2 of them- is my favorite one.

    All of them are funny. But the funniest one is My sister in law’s friend’s daughter’s dad’s dad’s had a heart stroke; I need to be there for moral support

    Some of these excuses could also be used to bunk school. My school teacher always knew when someone is giving him a bogus excuse. He always said when you are lying be creative. If some excuse makes him laugh, we knew we are not in trouble.

    Lying is an art. Jonathan Swift dealt it with very beautifully in his book "The art of Lying."

    These excuses can be very well used by kids to bunk their school hours or coaching classes. I wish grown up's could also use these funny excuses and the person to whom these excuses are given would take it in the same funny manner.

    Of course. Both the parties, if they take in a lighter vein, its OK. But care should be taken especially children should not make it a practice.thinking that they can manage every time with lies.

    Even they are not good for anyone.. Making it to lighten up the situation is good but it always come down to conclusion that one is running from it's responsibilities.
    Life is a box of Chocolate, You never know what you gonna get.... :)
