There ars some disgusting features in election. Most political parties including the two main stream parties give party tickets not on basis of candidate's ideology and credentials. The tickets are given on basis of 'winnability' and generally in exchange of cash. Anyone sho can pay more for ticket and also spend in rally will get the ticket. Here at Agra, we have spectacle of former Samajvadi MP getting BJP ticket. There is large scale movement of leaders from one party to another. You may be under impression that you are votig for BJP candidate but really tat man may be former Congress just managed to get BJP ticket. Practically, the candidates are not genuine political workers of concerned parties but they are just 'race horses' on whom political parties have staked for sake of money, glamor etc. So whatever way you vote, you are cheated.

Exactly. All parties are giving tickets to Winning horses only. I know the person who has been nominated for a particular party is not the eligible candidate in accordance with the party's ideology. Crores of Rupees are changing hands in all the political parties for the sake of a Ticket.

So in these circumstances, there is no meaning in the slogan that you are voting for change. The candidates are like wine and parties like bottles. So what you do is select same wine filled in different bottles.

No one should be influenced from any one as this is the right one should be voting and even thread discussion, or friends, family and relatives should not have impact on voting. I vote on 17 th March and this time two votes in my state one for center and the other for state.

Here in Karnataka , someone known to me has stood for election on a Congress ticket and according to him all the MP contestants have been given 10 crores each for election expenditure for distributing to voters and take them to booths etc ...I am sure other parties except probably AAP do the same thing ! What a farce this election is if that is the case ...As for our own constituency , this has been one of the cleanest elctions ever with candidates belonging to all the parties going low key and except for some problems with the voting list everything was carried out really well..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

There is one unique feature of AAP. The AAP candidates are not fighting to win. They are contesting only for collecting donations. They do npot spend much and so whatever donation they get or major part of that is their income. This fact can be easily determined by funds appeal by each and every candidate indvidually on Facebook.

I believe that the left parties like CPI(M) mostly give ticket to their party workers on recomendation of local committees unlike the big parties who actually 'sell ticket to highest bidder'.

I wish that there should be quoations for party tickets also in local newspaper just like commodity prices. The high and low rates of party tickets in various regions would give an idea of prospects of the parties. These rates would be more dependable that the 'exit polls'.
