Political parties get some tax benefits subject to compliance with rules. Election Commission has sought withdrawal of tax benefits to some political parties as they failed to submit information to the commission. However any major party is not among such defaulters.

    Political parties do not deserve any tax benefits. After all who's being taxed ? Is it not a bizarre practice?
