    Any therapy other than Allopathy is known as alternative therapy. Ayurveda, Acupuncture, Aroma therapy, Homeopathy etc are alternative therapies and they are mostly traditional therapies.
    I'm an ardent fan of Ayurveda and Aroma therapy.
