It seems BJP is in great hurry and will not wait for actual counting of votes. So there are hoardings for congratulation Modi on becoming PM even before elections. anyway let them do what they do. But they are also roping in other parties for boosting their list of allies. First they named Naveen Patnaik of Orissa, who has actually not taken any view so far. Next they targeted AIADMK. However, Jai Lalitha has expelled a leader for wrongly announcing that AIADMK would ally with BJP and be part of NDA.

Is such undue haste not a mockery of the entire democracy?

Announcing an alliance with a party has to be discussed withe party's leader. This haste of the said leader is certainly a mockery of democracy. It also speaks of that member's lack of responsibility and the knowledge of his party's policies.

From what I perceive none of the top rung leaders of BJP have said anything about alliance except say that even if they get the required numbers they welcome anyone who is willing to join NDA which is fair enough the rest of the specullation abt BJD etc is by the media... One cannot criticize NDA for that nor for the enthusiasm shown by the party workers when they feel that their party may become victorious, If the tables were turned and UPA had done the same thing I wonder if the same people would have criticised so strongly , propbably even supported it ...
As for the issue of AIADMK it is not the fault of BJP but the particular leader from AIADMK...

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
