We entered the coalition era with decline of Congress. Now there is again single party majority. Is this end of coalition era or just one time event? However, despite single party majority, there is still coalition in name of NDA.

It will be one time event if government fails to deliver what it has promised, otherwise scenario will be the same.
One party rule is not a new thing for India. The people have seen the evils of Coalitions. Then now came the one party rule has come up. This very fact says that the people weighed the pros and cons and decided to opt for one party rule. This indicates that 'Single Party Government " has come to stay.
I wish there was only two party system in India and then evils of coalition would never have arrived in our country.
Two party system was there earlier. It's the opportunists and power mongers with an intention of staying in the power are responsible for the emergence of coalitions, though it's not new elsewhere.
Two party system rules out all the confusions, all the irregularities and helps in the formation of more disciplined government.
Two party system is a healthy combo of a ideal governance AND A CONSTRUCTIVE OPPOSITION.
Even a coalition formed with 3 or even 4 parties that have similar ideologies can be good for the country. But what we had until now was a chow chow where everyone has different ideas and keep threatening to pull out when their ideas are not encouraged - they seem more like a gang of rowdies than responsible leaders governing a nation ! Just imagine what would be our fate if there are no bureaucrats and advisory boards. I guess even they are shunted out when our netas want to do their own thing..
Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
