Slapping a policeman on duty? Is this not extreme case of taking law in own hands? But this lawlessness is defended on the plea that others indulge in more objctionable activities. I wonder why they do not abolish the police forces? The politicians could themselves maintain law and order or really introduce their brand of lawlessness? They least understand that if police or any security forces loses dignity, this is ineffective and cannot be expected to give any results.

Just two days ago, The ruling party MLA in AP attacked a Police officer who was on the duty of controlling the crowds which were fighting with sticks and swords. The plea that others indulging in more objectionable activities is a lame excuse.

Police reform is necessary but can they be reformed by slap by politician. Now is the time that polticians be reformed.

It is to be condemned that a politician slaps or abuses a policeman, but day in and day out one sees policemen themselves merciessly beating and abusing the common persons - what about that.

Police reform relates with detaching political powers from police, generally promotions and transfer of state rests with state govt and this is to be detached and self-regulatory and self-autonomous authority to overtake.

Both need reforms. Both should know their peripheries and boundaries of their responsibilities and duties.

More shocking in CM Siddaramaiahs statements where he tries to rubbish the issue and also defends the MLA...Our CM has been one of the most ineffective in recent times and now this incident highlights this showing that he and his party only care for numbers and are least bothered about anything else !

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

It's the characteristic of all the politicians who think adherence to law is for the foolish public. By being in the power they think, they are the superhumans.

Yes. The clip was shown in Telugu channels. Lying for the politicians comes effortlessly. If it's not so, how he could have become a politician?
