    Yes. I read the news. Without any political intentions and as an inhabitant of AP, I would say its a political stunt by KCR, Telangana CM, to grab the Muslim vote bank. This is the same state which never bothered to provide minimum facilities to Sania when she was in Hyderabad. I can understand the sudden love on Sania by the crafty KCR.

    Yes. I read the news. Without any political intentions and as an inhabitant of AP, I would say its a political stunt by KCR, Telangana CM, to grab the Muslim vote bank. This is the same state which never bothered to provide minimum facilities to Sania when she was in Hyderabad. I can understand the sudden love on Sania by the crafty KCR.


    I am not aware of exact conditions in Telangana. However Sania Mirza is an Indian player of repute and honoring her even at this stage appears appropriate. I don't know whethr there is some other more deserving personality.

    Here is another link that affirms that sania will always be India's daughter. Sania's nationality is decided by her passport and not her husband's.

    In India after women get married she is adopting the policies teaching by their husband side. She is adapting and adjusting and sharing her life with husband. Though Sania Mizra is an Indian citizen she married Pakistan cricket player and staying there so the word daughter in law of Pakistan may be acceptable.

    But here the issue is of Brand Ambassador. she is Indian citizen and plays on behalf of India. Naturally, she can be brand ambassador only in India and not in Pakistan. This is also a gender issue. If a male player had married some foreignor, there would be no objction to his appointmet as Brand ambassador. This is obviously double standard and anti feminist attitude.

    There is no controversy about Sania's Nationality. She's an Indian. So are the Telugu people living in Hyderabad. Why then the Telugu people are denied of scholarships and other educational facilities branding them as "Settlers"?Who this KCR is trying to bluff ? It's nothing but a political ply to grab Muslim votes in Hyderabad.

    Yes. Telugu is the language common to both the states and most of the customs are also common to both the states.My sister married to a Telangana man. They are living happily. All the troubles and differences are created by the politicians especially TRS and it's chief.

    There are a few facts that need to be taken into consideration...
    1, Sania Mirza is now married to a Pakistani
    2, She does not live in India now
    3, She lives in Dubai , so she becomes an NRI
    So, how can she become a brand ambassador, if so all NRIs living in other parts of the world have the right to be recognised as brand ambassadors....

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!
