When Satyagraha of Gandhi could make the mighty British fall, why not his other principles like Swatch Bharat and cleanliness is next to Godliness, could not befollowed andimplemented ?

The problem with our politicians is simple.  They do not know how to deal with any aspect of Gandhism.  They think that Mahatma Gandhi is no more relevant.  We have a whole lot of people who still think that Mahatma Gandhi is not relevant.

He is very relevant even today.  For example, greed.  He was the only one who said, 'there is everything for everybody's need, but not for everybody's greed".  This is the exact problem of what we call as the most practical lesson.  Our politicians and most of the upper middle class and the filthy rich plunder the poor.  We even had one IAS officer in UP who has swindled crores of rupees.

Once we learn to just take care of our needs, the world will be a far better place to live in.

Gandhi's principles are as simple as himself. That's why many of us are of the opinion,"Oh, such simple things will not work. " we need complicated and mind boggling principles. Then people think they work.

I'm of the opinion that Gandhi's principles relevant even after 100 years.

 I agree swatch bharat campaign is very much doable with all our support and effort. If every individual does it on an individual level it will definitely help us get a clean India.

When people join their hands willfully , Gandhianprinciples can be made successful. Afterall even the hills can be moved when hands are joined.
