Peeling vegetables should be practiced, but also, vegetables should be dipped in water for at least 15mins before cutting them to get rid of any toxic fertilizer.

Wash the vegetables. But never feel them. ( Peeling is necessary for some veggies, but some like carrots and sweet potatoes should; not be peeled.as the most important nutrients will be lost.)
