Especially junk food and oil rich foods will damage our immune system.

Natural foods are always good. Junk foods causes several problems in the body. People should take care in taking oil items. I have seen some old age peoples taking poori as a morning diet. Bad cholesterol is always damage the immune system.

DEPENDING ON THE AGE FACTOR, IT'S ALWAYS BETTER TO INCREASE THE INTAKE OF VEGGIES AND REDUCE MEAT AND CHICKEN. BUT FOR NON VEGETARIANS FISH INTAKE IS HARMLESS AS THEY CONTAIN OMEGA FATTY ACIDS WHICH ARE GOOD FOR HEALTH.

Yes sir. Vegetarian food is harmless always. The main factor for so many diseases today is due to the emergence junk and oily foods. Also the absence of fruits and veggies in our diet. Because of this, we are in a stage to depend upon medicines to prolong our precious life. So, inorder to come out of this adverse effect, one need to reduce the intake of junk food and increasing the intake of fruits and veggies more. There is one saying in tamil that aptly conveys the importance of food, which is, " Food is Medicine and Medicine is Food". Here food refers to the intake of healthy food. If one follows that, no medicine in needed forever.

I agree with you. Your intake of food should be as effective as medicine. It means your food should be both a nutrition and preventive. They together should act as Sanjeevani in fortifying your immune system.

With growing age the food intake should be reduced as energy dissipation goes down.Eating boiled food and drinking lot more fluids also helps.

Absolutely. With the suggestions you made, if the activity quotient in the form of  physical exercise or Yoga will add quality of life.

Some form of exercise is a must to keep joints moving, at least 3 to 4 times a week. Walking for 15 to 20 minutes also is helpful. But what we eat decides the quality of our health.

Leading a sedentary life will pave the way for many illnesses. Create some work. And move. Moving itself is an exercise. One need not go to a gym.
