Yes sir. Very true. Classic writers of yore contributed a lot for the development of Modern English. Shakespeare is one among them. The phrases like, "Green-eyed Monster meaning jealousy is still being used in our English language. Another example is "it's all Greek and Latin " to express if one is unable to understand easily.
