Most of the things given in the article are known to me through my Muslim friends. But one thing about which i never knew was the meaning of Raadan that, "Ramadan means ‘scorched earth’ - coming from the Arabic root word ramiḍa or ar-ramaḍ which means extreme heat or dryness."

Thank you sir for an informative article.

I read every word of the article and agreed with it. In fact I have been living in Muslim areas like Lucknow, Meerut, varanasi and many more right from my childhood so I know almost everything. Thanks for updating.

Itoo had closer relations with Muslim friends. Additionally I used to have Haleem the food eaten after fasting . It's not only delicious but also healthy.

I have attended Roza Iftar parties but never ate haleem. I have taken a few pieces of dates and apples that's all. To the best of my knowledge hallem is prepared using beef.

Not entirely. There are different types of Haleems. They use chicken too after halal .
