Nowadays there is probably no need to delve deeper into milk does and does not do, we can clearly say that consuming too much milk is indeed harmful because the milk we get nowadays is composed of harmful chemicals, detergents and fertilizers such as urea.

True Kalyani. Adulteration is everywhere. Everything we consume is being adulterated. As an example Papaya seeds are mixed with Black pepper. This just an example. And the list goes on.

Adulteration of milk and other food products is certainly an issue. But even then the issue to be considered is whether it is advisable to take milk that is not adulterated. One reason againt consumption of milk is that this is unnatural as man is the only specie that drinks breast milk even as adult and that too of other species.  What the dieticians say would be more significant. Milk is said to be a good source of calcium . If you avoid milk or milk products, you need to take non veg- eggs, meat, fish as substitute. If ytou are veg, milk is unavoidable.  In this respect, opinion in Ayurveda and other medicine systems should be significant. Manty allopathic doctors also advise to take some medicines with milk. However many are allergic to milk and milk products. Personaqlly, I do not consume milk. I avoid even tea in morning and some times take coffee without milk.

A good link sir. The link article says all benefits of Milk. Personally though I like milk, in these days of adulteration I stopped taking Milk. Above all it's not advisable to consume milk after a certain age limit. For calcium I like to take bananas which is filled with Calcium..

Thanks for suggesting a god substitute- banana that contains calcium.  May be other fruits also could be rich in calcium.
