Today most of people in town and metro cities have sitting job. They have to sit in front of computers for hours to complete their task. A study shows that sitting job is not good for health and can create many problems, like back ace, shoulder ace and many more.

Taking a walk during lunch time helps a lot. Even better would be to sit in your chair and do some "Chair Yoga". Chair Yoga gives the same health benefits as normal yoga.

True, best option for sitting job employees is 'chair yoga'. As an employee can't leave his job only for the reason that it is a sitting job, he can do some movements sitting in the chair. Stretching your body parts while sitting in the chair at regular intervals can help a lot.

They say, Movement itself is an exercise. I have been doing Chair yoga since many years. Another alternative, I avoid sitting before the computer. I getup, stroll in my verandah after every 30 minutes of continuous working

 

Yes sitting job is not good for health,what to software jobs are ruling our country so,we have to do the work by sitting most of the time.only remedy is along with the work the we have to take care of our health also like taking some break not to sit continously etc.

It's not only IT jobs, there are other jobs too which force the employees for hours of continuous jobs without movement. This malady can be solved by taking short breaks and a short movement distancing one from the work.

Most probably we all are like the sitting jobs. But it may cause us so obese. If a person is obese and it leads to all heart problems, hypertension, some hormonal problems also. Main reason to getting obese is they want to finish their breakfast/lunch very soon so they prefer pizza or burger most of the time. IT professionals are so obese.We need to change this attitude to get the healthy body.

Even in office hours one can be away from the computer during recess. This helps in preventing many ailments caused by sedentary life.
