More power to the women in uniform.  A great high indeed and reaching greater heights with time. However,  the job Is only for the girls who have It in them to be In combat roles. To be In this role one may have to be In hard fields during difficult times which means leaving behind families and going for war If necessary.

This is obvious. Any one- man or woman- have to go through same procedure for any task. There is no question of family life during war. A woman combatant has also to be tough as a man would be in same circumstances and for same role.

Exactly. A woman combatant too has to sacrifice her family life and work equally during war times along with the men.During war times it is imperative to render self less services for the security of the Nation be it  a male or female.

 

Apart from the full fledged war time, it also involves being deployed in sensitive areas where families are not safe and therefore not permitted. For a man it is a different scenario because the in the Indian society the home front is looked after by women. For a lady, it would mean to be in these areas leaving behind their growing and sometimes new borns at home. So, what I meant was, it is absolutely great that women are reaching greater heights with added responsibilities but it is not everyone's cup of tea. Only those girls who are totally committed and ready to take on these challenges should join. Ladies have shown their proficiency and efficiency in non combative roles in the military since quite some time and have done a great job as well as done the country proud. Now they are set to take on greater challenges. Kudos to them!

I agree with you. women in non combative spheres in the army is there since long. And now in the combative sphere proves that a woman is as good as men in any sphere. And it is good that a woman's strength is being realized and recognized by the Nation especially  in army. It's a good sign indicating that women are coming of age. Its true that all women are not made to take up such challenges. But seeing the changing trends, I'm hopeful that more and more women join the trend.in the coming days.

there is question of being a woman or man because if someone goes to force profession he/she to be trained in the same way, there is no question of training woman and man differently. Yeah it is great to see women are participating in force now a days
