Good that size of the gadgets like Smart phones are decreasing as the technology is galloping.  As far as size is concerned, its OK. But what about the utilitarian aspect ? I want to use a gadget that can provide me the facility of Painting for my Advertising purposes. Smart Phones can provide me that facility ?

I am not sure, but there are paint tools available on google playstore which you can download and install on your device.

One such app is:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.corel.painter

Some other apps are in the link:

you can search for others on google.

I know there are Apps provided even in my I pad. But all of them cater to the needs of Amateur  artists. I'm in need of a gadget that can help in painting compatible with the advanced features of Photoshop, Coral Draw and other  such programmes .

You should better stay with your desktop otherwise you will probably lose your creativity in case not coming to terms with modern facilities available on modern laptops etc. Of course smartphones are not meant to replace the desktops but they solve lot many purposes for people on the go so there is no use comparing a desk top with smartphones in any way.

I love this free image hosting site for sharing my work

Tablets and smartphones can only have some features of desktops but cannot replace desktops.

You know me very well right from the day i entered here, Of course I stick to my Desktop to carry on my jobs.

My desktop has not been used for several years now since I use only my laptop, IPad and smartphone when I am out...Some of the smart phone models are so good that you are able to carry out al your activities through it...I feel that desk tops may get phased out eventually except for office use or a few individuals only..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

i have been using Desktop, Laptop and I pad since long. But none of them found to be suitable for my kind of work, Painting and digital drawing. This is the reason I stuck to Desktop since long and this will continue.

I agree. Desktop is most convenient. That is why this is used for all official work. Laptop and smartphone are convenient for some jobs while you are on the move.

Laptops are now increasingly being used by persons who are  not on the move. The sales of desktops have dramatically fallen and that of laptops have gone up.  However laptops are also threatened by smartphones.

Those who have a specific purpose like that of mine, Digital painting will never go for smart phones. They do not have the features that help in digital painting and other web images.
