Indian voter as everyone knows can be appeased by liquor and cash and of course plenty of false promises which Lalu is an expert at ! BJP on the other hand threw political diplomacy to the wind and the result was that although it got the highest number of votes , seatwise it was in the third position ! The BJp leadership need to take this as a lesson ..

In the return of Lalu BJP had a role to play though an unintended one and they must introspect. While it is true liqour and cash are still used but its effects have surely gone down. Voters of all classes are much more aware today and are not easily swayed. Remember how DMK distributed free TV's and the voters gladly accepted them and voted almost enmasse for AIDMK in the last assembly elections in Tamilnadu.

This is not a new incident. When Lalau lost his chief minister post of Bihar, he recruited his wife Rabri Devi for election even if she had no prior experience in politics. He played his role very well to make his wife the chief minister of the state. Now Lalu is following the footsteps of Nehru family. But in Nehru's family, all of them were well educated. But Lalu is bringing his illiterate wife and uneducated children to run the government. 

Family rule is not new in India. Nehru family by being educated, what good it has done to the country ?

What sort of an question is being asked about good done to the country by Nehru family? Were voters fools to vote them repeatedly or is there only one educated person in the country. One can surely be critical but not totally dismissive and ungrateful and take cover by saying that this is my opinion.

You got the the Point. Voters were made fools. And it was done intentionally by the Congress Government . Khaddar Topi Wallahs know, more the people are kept in darkness, better for them. Of course,  Congress government succeeded. Which is why they remained in Power for two decades.
