Entire state reveled in the the innumerable number of entertainment programmes. It's a custom in AP, on the Day of Ugadi, to hold literary programmes. TV channes provided a host of programmes related to Ugadi. It's believed that people, what ever they do on this day, will continue all along the year. Which is why people spend the day in a happy mood.
