What BJP says about Congress free India should not lead to single party but perhaps if such downfall of the oldest party of India continues then perhaps we are moving towards a day when there should be a single national party against all regional parties. 

Then vote Congress for a change.

Although there was a name here and there in other parties for all practical purpose from Independence until 1977 India was more or less not just single party but single family owned democracy. Janata Party came into power and after that other parties became more prominent. 

Yes it is right that until 1977 Indian democracy was one family owned. The reason behind it is that politician of that time was not much greedy of power like present time. They wer freedom fighters and persons of principals. They never challenged Nehru family.

 

Of course soon after we got freedom, patriotism and nationalism would be running high among the population , also among the leaders who fought the British . But once the country is free and they came to know it is for keeps they became greedy for power and whatever else they could out of their position...

At present status of congress is like a regional party. Overall this situation is not in best interest of country.If ruling party have not mozorrity in upper house how he will work.

Till the period of Shastri Ji politicians were not so greedy, Situation was change when Indira Gandhi was PM.

now a day we can see patriotism only in india pakistan cricket matches other than that nobody can see any patriotism anywhere in India

Those days are no more now, where you can see a politician without greed. may be some exceptions are there. The root cause for this malice is Congress. Every child in India Knows about it.

 

Congress represented a large section of society. So singularly blaming it and absolving others is not proper.

After freedom most of time congress was ruling party. Many politicians change their party from congress to others.
