Why are such voices not emerging in today's times?

I think , with times tastes do change. Who is going to hear a Ghazal  in these days ?

Around the world had very popular and melodious songs by Sharada and Mukesh and the only number Mubarak Begum sang long with Sharada Yeh moong aur masoor dhal is probably is the least known and least popular of all !

I was referring to the quality of voice and not what public likes to hear.

As far as quality is concerned, Mubarak Begum's voice is definitely good. Such voices will sound attractive in a Classical Concert. Not for Movies,
