That is good lesson by the Kashmiri Pandits to the Christian missionaries trying to  convert Hindus toChristianity .

This happened 25 years ago. The missionaries job is to propagate their religion and convert when there is an opportunity. It is left to the people to refuse or accept ..

These Christian Missionaries even today are on the job of conversion in remote regions, offering lot of money to the uneducated people. Most of the villagers are drawn towards Christianity. This conversion to Christianity by Christian Missionaries continues.

The very fact that villagers are drawn towards Christianity shows that missionaries are not to be blamed. After all people have the freedom to choose and believe what they want to, in a democratic set up!

I agree. But being uneducated Village folks, they fall in the trap of offers offered by the Missionaries. This is how Missionaries are succeeding in converting Hindus to Christianity,

There is no need for a lecture since all of us here understand how conversion takes place. However, if the uneducated impoverished village r gets a better life after conversion, he is making a smart move and why not ? It is better to introspect and see where Hinduism has failed in keeping him under its fold.

This is really what god don't want there child to do all this in the name of him, these people are not only making their religion name goes worst but they are also making their god weak to care for them.

Christian missionaries have only taken advantage of the plight of the poor and helpless not just in India but everywhere else in the world, they only helped people with their "kindness and charity" only if they accepted Christianity, those who refused were not helped in any way. At many places, Christian missionaries have also resorted to coercion to force conversions, similar to followers of Islam who only resorted to forced violent conversions.

However, Hinduism, as both religion and philosophy has managed to survive and thrive through centuries of aggression and violence, in spite of caste and economic divides, and other factors. It has survived because it has deeper meaning than any other religion or belief.

It is right that all person have right to  choose, but using unfair means to force some is  evil deed.
