Most of the medical research is done by applying statistical tools. This is not so reliable. As regards Alzheimer Disease, the research indicates there there is little or no disease where turmeric is used. How is this correct conclusion. There must be study of chemical properties to establish cause and affect relation. Also, it would be more useful to see whether the patients of the disease consumed turmeric rather examining those who did not suffer from the disease.

Statistical research often gives misleading results either because of non establishment of cause and affect relation or faulty samples. For example, if you just draw a sample of 1000 individuals who ate omelet and ten of them met an accident, thou may conclude that eating omelet has 10% chances of meeting with an accident. These research are just this type.
