According to Ratan Tata, India is gradually becoming Banana Republic where previous Govt. provides land for proposed Tata Nano project and present govt. tries to take away.

This kind of situation is happening in all parts of the country where govt. is proposing something and then again disposing the same. There is no Guarantee that what Govt. of India is saying today will remain valid next day!!!

I think his views are based on his frustrating experiences in this regard and that in no way reflects the objective realities of this country.
Generally, the successive governments honor commitments of the previous governments. Whatever be the political party, there is continuity of state and administration. Change of ruling party is inherent in multi party democracy. even if a new government changes a policy, this is in accordance with law. A party that feels aggrieved by decision of government can always avail of legal remedy.

It is not possible to agree with comment of Ratan Tata.

A leading industrialist like him ought to have weighed each and every word before it left his mouth! The matter is sub judice and the very fact that Supreme Court has taken cognizance of the case and issued appropriate ruling alone shows that there is an ever vigilant judiciary in our country unlike what is seen in a banana republic!!
When government changes this may occur. But when same government comes into force how this can occur?
