    It is beyond doubt that Rahul has been the Mr. Dependable or The Wall of the Indian cricket team for a long time and I think the decision taken by him is right considering the fact that he is ageing and he should make rooms for the young bunch of players. He is taking the retirement with honor from both the forms of cricket by himself declaring his retirement. I think he could still contribute in test cricket and India needs him in test matches...

    I think retirement is not right decision he should continue contribution is situation demand to play him.

    I think Rahul will be contributing in test matches but then since he decided to quit one days and T-20, it is his personal decision. I agree with the fact that had he not been retired he should have continued as it would have surely proved very beneficial for the Indian team...

    I think Dravid has 3 more years to play all type of cricket. I think Dravid is not happy with past decision of selectors that is the reason he taken this decision.

    With due respect to santosh's thoughts, i feel that the decision to quit from odi and t20 after the series is absolutely right and a very wise decision on dravid's behalf.A true class player like him deserves a slot in all forms of the game but since selectors have had other thoughts ,of picking him and droping him at their will, i think dravid's decision gives a message to the selectors that "ok this is the last time im helping you guys out of a total mess,..but sorry no more!!"

    Yes you are right. due to injury Dravid get chance but actually he deserve to get this chance earlier then he might be happy.
