Slow and Steady Wins the Race.

people never protest for bad ill issue but it becomes bad for government and they forward the police to discontentment them and police do it in hard way so in some cases police being the target of violence for protesters.
The police force maintains law and order, prevents crimes and controls traffic. In this process, they may need to use force. Unnecessary and excessive use of force is undesirable. For excesses, police authorities may take proper action.

Even if police commit atrocities some times, there is no justification in beating or insulting police. If morale of police is dampened, they cannot perform their job. We need strong and effective police. Beating police personnel and insulting them is very undesirable. It is worse that police excesses. A strong and tyrant police person is better than a battered and insulted policeman in bad morale.

This is perhaps not the way to treat a Policeman under any circumstantial or event but very often then not people do take out their anger on them when they are in volume. This gives us the picture of a lawless land...!

this is exactly what i wanted to imply...thank you gulshanji.but it is sad to say that this happens in every political meetings that go astray. i think government needs to pass new laws that will prevent any one from attacking a uniformed policeman. their integrity has to be upheld......

Friends we should respect the uniform and the designation of any officer. The person may be wrong. We can teach lesson to wrong doers directly. On the other hand, we don't have any right to insult his uniform or designation.
Law is for all. Just like them we can also deal with situation tactfully.
it is the politicians who generally degrade the respect for policemen...i remember an instance where the chief minister of a particular state had ordered the commisioner of police to clean her shoes before entering a particular place infront of public and junior officers....
