    dont know whether ravan is a god or not..but there are places in some parts of south india where temples of ravan exist and ravan is worshipped every year on diwali!

    i don't hear that ravan exist as god anywhere. as in south India they are celebrating the diwali function for his death day..

    Ravan is a great devotee of lord shiva and he once please shiva by his music and ravan is a great musician, though he is a villon in ramayana but due to his art few people feel him as music guru

    Ravan is worshipped as a god in parts of south India as far as I know . And he was a very knowledgible person, though because of his some of his deeds he has gained bad name.
