Calling upon the people in the Maoist-hit Jangalmahal not to get scared, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday asked them to help her government carry out development work in the area, as four Maoists surrendered in her presence.

Do you think the problem will be solved after this appeal?

Surrender of four Maoists is not an event that may bring much difference. If the government brings development and prosperity to the poorest of poor, Maoism will fade and a solution would be in sight.

What does West Bengal experience show? It's all development that can make all the difference. How many incidents of violence do we hear from Lalgarh now?

By the way,Ram Prosad suitably correct the sentence by adding 'get' before 'scared'!
If they came and surrendered to Mamata problem is solved. Maoist are working for people on their demands. If government are ready to help the people there wont be any maoist.
