Aana - elephant in Malayalam
Aana - to come in Hindi

There is a puzzle in Malayalam relating to elephant.
Once, an elephant went to a post office or something like that. But without entering, he stood outside. When asked, he told

"Andar 'aana' manaa hai!"

Seeing this, I remembered one more word. In Malayalam, there is one more similar word, Patti(not pronounced as patti-bandage of Hindi, Patti-dog of Malayalam)
How can I tell u :(
Patti - Somewhat similar to telugu patti
eg. Dirt patti...in clothes
Mud patti

patti poy - am made fool

More words are coming in my mind

There is striking similarity of words of Malayalam and Hindi regarding face, but used with different meaning. So I am also a little confused. If I say wrong, Hindi specialists correct it.

Naak - tongue in Malayalam ......Hindi.......someone complete it
mook - nose in Malayalam mooh.....mouth in Hindi :cheer:
Mukh - someone complete it
Mukham- face in Malayalam

somany words with difference meaning. Its very nice to know...
