"Originality does not mean thinking something that was never thought before; it means putting old ideas together in new ways." can u give some examples to this, with your opinion.

In my view, being original means generating something really new, something that never existed before in the realm of human knowledge. And, merely giving a new shape to the existing ideas, however appealing the new form might be, doesn't qualify to be called truly original.

For example, take the fields of science and engineering. All the famous scientists and engineers are highly revered and appreciated, not because they took some idea and simply put it in new form, but because they are credited with discovering or inventing ideas that were hitherto unknown. Be it the discovery of planetary motion or the steam engine, it was the creation of new knowledge, rather than repeating an old idea that made these achievements possible.

Thank you for the valuable ideas

i have no idea for this time.
What is not copied verbatim is original. Originality implies independence of thought and action. The independent thought will give a different view of the matters which are already existent. Not only the old ideas are presented in new way but rather the ideas are modified or changed. Just putting old wine in new bottle is not originality.
