Jaundice is the yellowish discoloration of the skin of body and eyes. Jaundice is not a disease but it is the sign of disease. It is caused due to excess formation of bilirubin in the liver or due to liver disorder which does not remove excess of bilirubin from the body or due to some obstruction in the liver which stops bilirubin to do its work.
