    Even if parents consider girls as strong, they fear, what will happen to them when they go to 'sasural', if she behaves as a male child. That's the main reason why parents ask her to be calm, quiet and patient because they are always worried about the kid when she goes to her second home. isn't it?

    yes, sunilg you are right. In this modern generation girls have become equally stronger like boys. due to the society and orthodox families girls are treated as weaker gender.

    But i feel change must come in the society so that girls also get good value and the crime rate towards girls will be reduce

    Agreed they are even more stronger than boys mentally but physically they are not which is the reason why they are compulsorily asked to get married. :blink:

    Yes at least in INDIA if someone decides to remain unmarried or someone does not marry in his/her life society does not see them with respect :evil: .But what is wrong in it as marrying or not marrying whole life is someone's personal choice and others do not have right to interfere in it. :) What do you say? :)


    I dont think that these days anybody really cares about what people think and expect us to do.It is a personal choice and if an individual is happy being single then it is upto him or her..Many dont want to get married for different reasons and we have to respect their decision since they know best what they want out of life...I have a cousin who is 42 years old and he is still not married, but of late he is rethinking about it since he feels differently about marriage now...so it is all personal

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

    This is personal choice and none should interfere in this. One has different reasons to marry or not to marry. Once some one decides to marry in later stage, this too is his personal choice, besides 42 is not so late.

    Even I used to think not marry and be alone and serve people. but society and parents won't agree so decided to marry some which my parents select
