    There may be many reasons like they might be taking a revenge from that person,may be they get happiness by doing it.It all depends on the person may be he is trying to impress someone by doing it or even getting money for doing it from someone. :blink:

    There are different reasons for people doing this. May be they have nothing else to do, may be they feel others are having more money and can be cheated easily. Oh, there are hundreds of reasons, this depends from cheater to cheater.

    Yes it is a personality trait, some have it in them to cheat at every given opportunity.We get to hear about people who do that day in and day out.Giving false hope and cheating others out of their money has become very common these days.But people fall for it and the cheaters make their money, sometimes get caught too..

    Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

    I think its also one type of psychological problem. The first reason is mostly desire and then comes revenge.. But its not completely feasible to know what the cheat wants.

    Revenge is not the main aim of a cheater but cheater only does it for personal gain. Besides there are different kind of cheaters, see if some one is not faithful to his/her partner that too is kind of cheating.

    This is obvious. Man wishes to get money and other pleasures any way. So he may take the cheating routs as well for his needs and objects.

    Yes mostly its for personal gain only and when one cheats the other person won't keep quiet and take revenge further.
