Sangma, Presidential candidate's daughter is in trouble for canvassing support for his father. She is minister in U.P.A. whose candidate is Pranab Mukherjee.

Ironically, Sangma's call for conscience vote is getting funny. His daughter's conscience favors ministerial post in UPA but opposes ruling party candidate. Strange are ways of conscience.

    There should not be any whip on presidential election, so she can choose any one.

    There should not be any whip on presidential election, so she can choose any one.


    In fact, there is no whip. She may vote any way. The vote is secret. But she cannot canvass openly for rival party candidate. Also, if it is revealed that she voted for rival party candidate, she will be in trouble. Our democracy is based on party system. If this is diluted, anarchy will follow.
