    We must stop burning of non-biodegradable materials, such as plastics- it can make our environment polluted.it effects the ozone layer. Depending on the plastic, it can lead to toxic fumes.

    It generates large amount of carbon-di-oxide and other hazardous gases which causes health and environment problems. In air it contributes reduction in quality of air by adding unwanted gases.

    not just Carbon dioxide but other toxic gases too and the resultant acids that form drench into the soil and make the soil unusable!

    Thankfully, at least now some positive measures are being taken in regulating the use of plastic by levying a charge for plastic bags in most established stores .Otherwise, one gets to see plastic being burnt along with other stuff which has definitely polluted our atmosphere . The toxic gases emitted are supposed to cause cancer ...

    Yes, yet we need to burn our waste, including plastics
    Now, since high restriction of plastics in our state, its usage has been reduced very much for the past 1 year.
    I think, all other states should follow Kerala to implement such steps.

    Plastic contains a number of components that are not hazardous when used properly, but can be harmful to both humans and animals if burned which chemical i sused in making plastic linked with diseases

    Burning plastic pollutes environment as it emits dangerous gases so we should avoid it.Moreover we should reduce use of plastics as it does not decompose. :blink:
