we all going to suffer from here onwards. 6 cylinders are very less quantity. It is not enough for a year.

It is not that difficult if you are a little careful.i am managing ,since in our state it has been implemented since almost a year.I make my cylinder last for 2 months,of course using the microwave oven for warming up and also using a rice cooker helps a lot..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

But this is in effect for long now. However this would make problems for big families. I am not much worried because we do not use even 6 cylinders/year as we do not have big family and never stay in one place. however extra refills are available for extra cost.

I can give a alternate suggestion that is induction cooker. It is very easy to use and cheap.

I just ordered for an Induction cooker just to make a balance of the gas.

Nice decision taken. It will reduce the gas consumption.

Really what to do nothing could be done so there is no option in buying this cooker.

If you are a joint family, you may take separate connection for each nuclear family consisting of one joint family. For small family, a cylinder should last at least for two months. So, this should not pose a problem.

We are living in rental home and periodic shift....so it's not possible for us to keep firewood hearths and utensils. 2 months is OK......
But my gas cylinder exhausts in 1.5 months

The families will have a tough time managing their kitchen expenses. I think as Gulshan Sir mentioned we can have more than a connection in case of joint families, so such smart moves can reduce the expenditure and help maintain financial stability in the households.

Live in the present :)
