    The best way is to use doors with wire mesh. Keeping them opened is sure way to invite flies and sickness.

    Go to your local hardware store and get some FLYPAPER and hang it from the eves of your roof this works better than those blu-light electronic zappers, unless of course the flies are nocturnal.

    May the fly catchers which people use in hospitals with floroscent tube lights fitted in it are the best. That may solev the purpose. :blink:

    Adding garlic in the corners of the house will make away house flies from house.

    By using the lemon also in the same way.

    yes, garlic is a good remedy...
    just crush it and mix with some water and then spray every where. I read some where, (but haven't tried yet) :P

    I feel instead of Garlic we can use Onion also. as it also gives powerful smell.

    Anil, I am told that making a wick with cotton cloth,dipping it in clove oil and burning it in the room by putting it in a terra cota container helps get rid of flies if done regularly.They dont like the strong small of clove oil...
