I agree most Indians do not have sense of humor and I can tell you that with my personal experience. Even if I said in lighter side of a scenario that was taken otherwise and not properly.

beauty of humour lies is finding something funny even in small things around. It should never hurt anyone's feelings. I feel, Indians are more interested in others' matters than their own. :P . That may be the reason why many humours end in clashes

You said it right here what I am trying to say- I am a Punjabi whose sense of humor is well known but people with sense of humor would know that otherwise it would go over your head- as expected. ;)
