It's 21/12/2012 and the world hasn't ended yet

People were taking the date of 21/12/2012 very seriously. Many people thought that the world was going to end on this date. Some claimed that The Mayan Calendar ended on this date and therefore it indicated the end of the world. Some people referred to astrologers and prediction makers and said that the world will end on this date. There notion was further popularized by science fiction movies and serials. But it's almost 21/12/2012 and nothing has happened. Maybe we should stop listening to the nonsense that some people talk about doomsday. Do you agree? :woohoo:

I think If there is any news related to anythings means there is something and we all need to be alert. We don't need to be confident that there will nothing or its blank news.

It is heartening to see you on the site after long period. As regards Doom, we need not worry- whether this happens or not- whether God exists or not. Natural calamities (Doom included) are unavoidable. If meteorological department can forecast and suggest remedial measures, OK- otherwise no tension. If God exists and he created the world, we have no business to pray to him for saving the world. Everyone (including the God as conceived) has a right to demolish what he made. I think that believers (non believers like me are not concerned) should respect God and not create hindrance in his scheme. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: .
