Well, My mom already made it but it looks little different.. Lol.. But taste is really good, I don't know if it is like original one but I liked it.

I have taken photo too, but will post it tomorrow.. Thanks again Sandhaya.

then we shall make 'puttu' next time.
if she learns to make putt, she will start putt festival at home, as it never takes more than 10 minutes for preparation :P

What's that?! Do you have article on that too.. I never mine in trying new things, I love food.

flour is same....rice flour....but it's not to be powdered too nice.
check in nearby mall if you find putt powder of Brahmin's brand.
both putt (steam cake and appam) are healthy dishes as they are steam cooked. you can make putt in wheat powder also.
check the photos given by swetha, i have named putt

you need to soak rice for a few hours and powder it (not too fine). then you need to heat it a little to make rice flour for steam cake. if you are interested I will give you its recipe later. instead opt for rice flour packets. if so, you can make steam cake instantly

Swetha created this delicious thread to give a visual treat to her friends including me. But Sandhya Rani made it a real treat by explaining how to make these items. Dream come true experience.

Appreciations to Swetha and Sandy.

Born to express, not to impress.

For the past three days, there is no Kerala treat for us. I am eagerly looking forward to a delicious Kerala treat either from Sandy or Swetha or from both.
