Prakah Karat a noted Left leader talks of forming a non congress secular government at center. But so far we have never seen such a government. V.P. Singh was supported by left as well as 'communal BJP. Other 'secular' non congress governments had outside support of congress. It appears that only congress and BJP can provide governments at center. Other alternatives are impractical.

People would never learn their lesson, the fact is we do not yet know the real meaning of secularism. So anything goes in the name of non-secularism. Another fact is we see only one face of the coin, the other one goes without a glance.

Seeing this trend of our pseudo political pundits, who use a word without knowing the meaning and spelling of a word, someone aptly termed them as 'Political Jokers.' Actually, we are habituated with these Jokes. That's why as far as i'm concerned, they are mere prattling only.

The dates are not yet decided for an election and they are fighting for communal/non communal, prime ministerial post and wot not but no one is worried for lawlessness that is killing people in different ways. The only agenda of political parties is power and votes to capture more power and money, baki jaye Bhad me.

In India we also have the problem of not having a able leader in any party, Congress has only Manmohan Singh and they are not sure how it would affect them if they show Rahul Gandhi as their chosen candidate. As for BJP, they too are not sure about either Adwani or Modi, and there is really no one else among the other parties - am sure Mulayam, Mayawati ,Nitish and many others have the ambition to become PM!

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

The word 'A leader with a blemish less countenance' has become a thing of the past.
There are hundreds of very good leaders in many Indian political parties but being good is their disqualification, which keeps them away from any role to play in governance. They do not count when it comes to participating in power politics. Fact is politics in India means by the people who care for people as far votes are concerned. Later it's free for all making money for themselves and indulge in blame games. The politicians in India behave worse than goons on the streets.

Yes i,like it, one point agenda of all political parties are power and money. they are spending their time and energy in saving, making government and than money.

So we have absolutely no choice ! I still feel that Manmohan Singh is good except that he is far too mild and easily led by Madame Sonia ! Compared all others he is still the best bet, but for obvious reasons he is not preferred !
