Yes it is good. But I wonder if they can be completely ban. I mean what if they are hosted on out of India sever. I have no knowledge related to this thing. That's why asking.

 This planning is good but I don't think that porn sites can be completely banned because most of the porn sites have their servers outside India. I think the first thing to do is controlling porn ads. General websites or any other non adult sites should not display porn ads. Some of the porn sites gives a warning message before entering their site and this should be implemented on all the porn sites.

If this can be implemented, it's well and good. But i have my own doubts regarding implementation. We have many government acts which were forgotten the very next day after they were passed in the parliament.
I don't know when porn sites were lawful in India. This is just administrative failure. Porn sites are mostly foreign. There is already censor on movies. It will not be practicable to ban foreign porn sites. Parents have already device to control what their children see on internet or TV. They need monitor their children activities more rather than ban by government.

Ban or no ban, whatever filters they use, techies will find out ways to access such site. Besides banes only make you more curious and try harder to watch them.

Yes, we don't have control over technological atrocities. So the only option left to us is to see that our children are not exposed to the porn sites through our own efforts.

There is nothing wrong with movies and sites- decent or porn- as long as you have good moral standard. No sane person will practice what he seen in sites. Javed Akhtar rightly pointed out that sex crimes are much less in states like Karnataka where cinema is more popular. In fact, porn sites have no direct co relation with sex offenses. Most of the offenders are semi literate and hail from backward region where facilities of cinema, TV and internet are very less.

Yes out of 14,000 cinema halls in India there are more than 8,000 in Karnataka, AP and TN only but such crimes are far too lesser in these tree states, so cinema has nothing to do with such crimes but our mind set.

I really welcome this decision. I hope that gets materialized sooner than later. This will indeed curb the nuisance in the society when there is no source to watch porn in the first place.

You are right. I'm from AP. You can see a cinema hall in every corner of the state, even in remote villages. One thing I observed was, our Telugu movies are no less than any Porn movie. But as you said, its the people's mind set that's the reason for craze for Porn movies
