Which party is doing better in your state - whom you think can do better than others in coming elections?

I am not aware about my state for time being as I am not there to judge the current scenario in my state.

BJP is likely to improve in U.P. but will still trail behind the major parties- Samajvadi and Bahujan Samaj. Congress may trail behind BJP.

The present time is a time of uncertainties. Gone are the days when poll predictions used to be almost right. Now, in the recent times of turmoil and turbulence in all most all parts of the country ,I'm afraid, poll predictions are not possible. Whatever that goes in the name of predictions they are nothing but our wishful thinking.

In this thread we are just discussing the likely position of parties in our states. Possibly, you may make out some guess about your stay by listening to gossip in street, tea shop etc. This should be free of your own bias. I have given a view of my state U.P.

My views are very clear about political parties, I am not pro BJP or congress so it does not make any difference to me who trails or who leads. I would be happier if such a rotten system did not exist where the Indian voter had no choice but to chose either a SanpNath or a NagNath. And we should certainly have limited number of parties so that we could know the actual strength of a political party and its manifesto.

I had to give my prediction about the country because the condition is same all along the country. And these are the conditions which will not enable us even for a wild prediction.

Irrespective of party, the players in politics are similar. In fact, the party workers and others associate with the party in power. You will find certain individuals always in ruling party. Ruling party will change but not the individuals. so we can't do anything. In fact, the well meaning and sincere do not join politics at all. They leave the field to dirty elements. So politics will remain dirty irrespective of party label.

The vote here will actually not reflect actual vote but only opinion of a member. The situation depends on constituency. For example, at Agra, choice is between Congress, BJP, Samajvadi Party and Bahujan Samajvadi Party. The choice in some states is between Congress and BJP. In others, this could be between Congress, some regional party and left.
BJP, Left, regional party all have influence in certain area. But Congress is everywhere- even if weak. So, there is likelihood of a government either led or supported by Congress. However, the poll will really be a fun for our members.
